The Finish Line in Sight...

After a long pause, and lots of hard work, the scaffold has been dropped to reveal McGuire Hotel’s newest Motel asset.

The Logan Village Suites Project is now only months away from completion and looking very much a fantastic addition to the site.

Complimentary work on the Hotel to value add amenity for the short term accommodation is well progressed. The Project will be well and truly completed when the lawn is laid on the Hotel/Motel courtyard.

We're on our way!

The construction of major refurbishment work to the Paddington Tavern, including a complete new level, is now officially underway.

Rohrig Constructions have been commissioned to manage the build, expected to be completed over an 18-month period.

We will include regular updates as this exciting project unfolds.

Further images of progress on the new Logan Village Hotel Suites. The second level floor plate is being formed up and progress by our client’s contractor, Fardoulys Constructions is proceeding to plan. The scale of the project is evident from these photos, along with smiles all round.

Bird's Eye View!

After many months of establishing ‘below the ground’ foundation work, the new Logan Village Motel is beginning to emerge as can be seen below. Over the course of 2025, the new 35-room accomodation addition to the Logan Village Hotel will progress rapidly for an expected March 2026 completion.

You May Have Seen...

Widely published in recent weeks is news that our client McGuire Hotels plans an upgrade to the Paddington Hotel on Given Terrace.

This will be an iconic overhaul of the building including a complete new level to complement the many facilities already on site. Function and entertainment areas will be incorporated and substantial visual improvement of the hotel’s appearance are in store.

All going to plan, this project should be in construction by the second half of 2025.

All "Go" At Logan Village

Further to our July news item regarding this project, we can report that work has commenced at site and that by Christmas 2024, the majority of piling work for building foundation will have been completed.

Fardoulys Constructions will focus on completing these works, including the building pad before moving to the above ground structure in 2025.

Plainland Hotel Update

Following a very busy construction program, we are now able to present the finished product!

After some twenty or more years, the original food servery area has been updated to marry in with the most recent renovations to the hotel and the new motel.

An addition has doubled the size of the hotel kitchen, now better able to accomodate the increase in demand. This included a mechanised scullery facility and additional cold room/ freezer/ preparation areas including for pastries and desserts.

While the inside hotel has received welcome enhancements, externally, new carparking areas at the East end of the hotel will be completed by Christmas.

Always Busy At The Calamvale Hotel

About to be opened late October, ten-pin bowling will become a feature within the all new ‘Thunderbowl’ activity centre.

Six full length AMF lanes have been incorporated to a larger games area in what was the hotel’s long serving night club and bar lounge.

The area will, in addition to bowling, include electronic darts, 35 arcade consoles, revived bar lounge and plenty of noise!

Sneak Peek

We are excited to reveal our next major investment for McGuire Hotels at the site of their Logan Village Hotel. Soon to commence construction will be brand new 34 room 4.5 star motel facility to complement the existing venue amenity. As can be seen this will be a three level structure overlooking the Logan Village commons as well as establishing a private break-out courtyard area as extension of the hotel restaurant.

We will keep you updated as this welcomed addition to Logan Village takes shape.
